Job overview
Cheshire and Wirral Partnership Fountain Trust are looking to recruit a Speciality Dr to work within our teams in Saddlebridge Recovery Centre and Alderley Unit .
This post involves providing medical input for two low secure in-patient services on the same site (0.6 Mental Health and 0.4 ID/ASC). The post-holder will work with two specialist consultants for the services within the context of the two multi-disciplinary teams. Consultant supervision will be provided at least every 6 weeks. The postholder will have full access to study leave as per the CWP policy.
Main duties of the job
The inpatient low secure units are Saddlebridge Recovery Centre (Adult Mental Health) and Alderley Unit (Learning Disability/Autism), 15/10 bed capacity respectively and for male patients only. Both wards are managed by CWP but form part of Lead Provider Collaborative framework, PROSPECT.
The Saddlebridge Recovery Centre accepts admissions from residents of the Cheshire and Merseyside catchment area requiring care within a low secure environment. The Alderley Unit is regional and accepts admissions from across the North West, liaising with neighbouring NHS Trusts.
The service operates a single point of access for referrals to secure services with a weekly gatekeeping meeting which is attended by clinical representatives from all inpatient units within the clinical service unit.
