Sodexo Live! has an amazing opportunity for a dynamic professional to join us and become the driving force for Staffing and Training at one of Nottinghamshire’s most prestigious venues.Your contribution in this pivotal role will be crucial in ensuring we have the required number of staff trained to the optimum standard to allow us to deliver a service second to none.This exciting role offers you the opportunity to have complete ownership of Staffing and Training.   You will recruit and select staff, manage the onboarding process, and then create and lead an events training program to promote Sodexo Live! as the preferred employer. Be part of something greater.MAIN RESPONSIBILITIESWork with the Centre of Excellence team and site HOD’s to manage the recruitment and selection process of casual catering employees for meetings & events at the venue.Efficiently and accurately manage the onboarding of all casual employees, adhering to Sodexo Live! processes, policies and procedures.Book, confirm and coordinate all shifts for all casual catering employees.Work with the site HOD’s to create a training programme and be a leader in the promotion and delivery of this.Manage the administration relating to staffing coordination, recruitment, training and payroll. THE IDEAL CANDIDATETo deliver the optimum service to a venue that is like no other, and exceed our client’s vision and expectations, you will already have experience of working in a high-volume Staffing and Training role or at least a role that encompasses the process.  Emphasis is placed on the training aspect of the role so this should be an area of strength, as well as the ability to effectively manage the roster coordination and planning.The role requires excellent communication skills, strong interpersonal abilities, and the ability to build strong relationships with internal teams and stakeholders. You will have experience in handling time-pressured environments and the ability to manage multiple changes in customer requirements. You will have experience of working in a customer facing position and have the ability to motivate and inspire others to achieve their fullest potential.  Above all, you will be passionate about service excellence and have a genuine interest in the hospitality industry.You will also have:Experience of working in the event industry or similar large volume Experience of conducting training sessions and presentations to groups of 20+Excellent written and verbal communication skills Confident in the use of MS Office, especially Excel along with other computer programmes   A flexible approach to working hoursThe ability to challenge with humility when the need arises An excellent attention to detailExcellent organisational skills The ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritiseWHAT WE OFFER In return for your commitment and expertise you will be rewarded with a salary of £30,000, plus access to our extensive benefits package, which includes:Contributory pension scheme of up to 6%Performance related bonusA buy and sell holiday scheme of up to 3 days (FTE)Volunteering days via our charity partner STOP HUNGERNumerous voluntary benefits, including dental care, gym discounts, retail / hospitality, and more.By joining Sodexo Live!, you will be part of something greater, working in an environment that fosters innovation and supports your professional growth.
