SalaryWe are currently looking for an Aerospace Stores Person to work for a busy and successful company based on the outskirts of Southampton. This is a varied role where you will be involved with lots of different duties. The stores mainly hold small specialist components so minimal heavy lifting is required. This is a temporary role so you must be available straight away. This company are a global organisation who specialise in engineering and technical products, there may be permanent opportunities for the right candidate.
The Role - Stores Person
This is a varied position, duties will include:
- Recording all goods in, ensuring goods are inspected, reported and put away.
- Management of stock levels and PI counts.
- Use of the MRP system to keep stock in order.
- Kitting/Picking small items for assembly.
- Ensure H&S is adhered to at all times.
- Stock movement between other departments and stores.
The Ideal Candidate
To be successful in this role, you will need to be good with IT systems (Excel, Word and MRP Systems). You will be very well organised and be experienced with Stores. Attention to details is vital as is the ability to learn in house IT systems.
