SalaryExperienced Warehouse & Despatch Assistant required for a well established company on the Bardon Estate, NrCoalville. This is a Temporary to Permanent position.
All applicants must have previous experience within the Stores/ Warehouse environment with Reach & Counterbalance Forklift licences, ideally accredited.
The main responsibility will involve:-
- Organising the shipping of products via couriers
- Communicating effectively with the Customer service, Planning and Production departments
- Managing production of stock items
- Preparing goods out and stock
- Oversee and assist staff within the stores area.
- The main priority of this role is to ensure that all products are correctly boxed, labelled and shipped to the customer on time and to the correct address.
- Input relevant information onto the computer and producing delivery notes
- Cost all of the deliveries to provide financial records
- Emailing customers regarding delivery information
- Accommodating customers with any changes to delivery information
- Picking orders correctly
- Shrink wrapping pallets
- Booking goods in to the WMS system
- Printing of delivery manifests
- Keeping the warehouse clean and tidy
- Maintain the forklifts on site (Battery charging etc.,)
Hours of work - 8.30am to 5pm Monday to Friday - Hourly pay rate = £13.00 per hour + OT at time + half when required
