The role
We have recently launched our new People Strategy for the OfS, and in doing so we are creating a new role for a resourcing professional to take up a senior post which will lead the resourcing function within the wider HR team. The role will have the opportunity to craft the recruitment and resourcing strands of the people strategy. You will provide expert direction on attraction, recruitment, employer branding and talent acquisition to ensure that we can meet our organisational regulatory agenda and achieve our organisational strategy
About you
This role would suit an experienced resourcing professional, who can take a lead on strategic workforce planning. The successful candidate for this role will work in partnership with colleagues across HR and the wider organisation; experience of building productive relationships with key stakeholders and influencing at senior levels is therefore essential. We are looking for someone who will be enthusiastic about leading a team in an agile environment. A flexible, creative approach, and excellent communications skills will also be essential.

- Experience of leading a resourcing team Experience of delivering and overseeing high profile resourcing projects across a range of resourcing activities. Strategic thinker demonstrating a broad-based depth of knowledge of resourcing and people issues and their potential impact Experience of developing resourcing policy & implementation and an understanding of what it means to work with TUs Stakeholder management and facilitation skills and the ability to quickly build trusting and effective relationships with customers. Coaching capability and style.
