Joining The AA as a Strategy & Transformation Manager, you’ll be crucial with identifying opportunities and solutions across strategy and transformation in line with company horizons. You will lead the problem-solving, analysis, modelling, communication and successful final delivery of business change and benefits to ensure the AA meets hurdle-rate returns.
We’re looking for our next superstar and as a superstar, you will have a classic management consultancy skillset but actively seeking more of a strategic-business role whereby you will have the opportunity to apply your consultancy experience directly in-house and in turn, create significant value for.
What will I be doing?
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders at varying levels across the Group Business as well as business Product Owners, Technical Delivery teams and Solution Architects to develop the best solutions for the AA’s key transformation priorities
- Reporting to and working closely with the Group Transformation Director on an array of aspects including but not limited to:
- Problem solving and detailed business analysis
- Financial and operational modelling and scenario analysis
- Co-ordinating and collaborating across multiple AA teams to resolve issues, develop insights and reach conclusions
- Create concise, clear, senior-executive ready communications to summarise issues, analyses, options and solutions
- Ensuring clear interlocks with all business and functional stakeholders throughout to maintain internal alignment
- This role will focus on a small number of high-value initiatives across the AA, therefore will require an appropriate level of personal commitment and drive
What do I need?
Capability, Knowledge & Experience
- Strong business problem-solving skillset, likely gained during a time working management consultancy or equivalent corporate role
- Demonstrable capabilities in financial modelling and numerical analysis
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills that allow for direct access to senior executives within the AA
Education/Qualifications
- Educated to at least degree level, likely in a numerical or analytical subject
- Successful candidates may have, or be planning to study for further advanced qualification such as MBA
Personal Characteristics:
- Intellectually curious and inquisitive
- Personal resilience, with capacity for periods of intensive work in pressured situations
- Enthusiasm to progress towards senior leadership position during career
- Ability to work effectively with a broad set of people from varied backgrounds
