Street Cleansing Operative

Thrive Bolton are looking for a skilled Street Cleansing Operative to join the team of the local council
The ideal candidate will have
Experience in support work within the construction industry.
Ability to understand policies and procedures
Ability to work as part of a team
Ability to work on own initiative
Good Communication skills
Must have attended a recognised construction health and safety course in the last five years.
Personal Protective Equipment
Must possess safety boots, overalls or suitable clothing.
Daily Duties will include
Surface dressing including hot materialsFlag and block pavingLaying kerbConstruct dropped crossingsLaying reinforced concreteFencingWallingExcavating trenches to lay drainsRebuild collapsed roads and drainsConstructing road surface drainage systemsDiverting flood waterErection, fixing and/or dismantling of highways furniture and equipmentErect and maintain crash barriersErect and maintain retaining wallsUsing a range of tools i.e saws, brush cutters, vibratory equipment and cement mixers.
using ride on equipment e.g Dumpers, Rollers, Mini Diggers and Bob Cats
Working hours are Monday to Friday 8:00am to 16:00pm
