We are looking for 4 enthusiastic and driven Student Voice & Engagement Officers to support the Market and Customer Insight Team in the management and delivery of Student Voice activities, with a particular focus on increasing student participation through effectively “closing the loop” on student feedback.
Please note, this is a 2 year fixed term contract.
The Student Voice & Engagement Officer role will include, but not be limited to:
- Manage and coordinate Student Voice activity within the post holder’s assigned School
- Lead on the management and promotion of “closing the loop” with students across all Student Voice activity within the School
- Work closely with School colleagues in managing and coordinating the promotion of, and engagement with university-wide student surveys, including Welcome Surveys, NSS, PTES, PRES and Module and Programme Evaluation surveys, and acting as a key point for School colleagues
- To work creatively and collaboratively with colleagues to develop new and innovative ideas for Student Voice activities across the University, ensuring Student Voice activity remains relevant and appropriate
You should have an interest in engaging with and advocating for the student body, a strong eye for detail, good analytical and numerical skills, and excellent communication skills. Prior experience of working in Higher Education would be a significant advantage, though not essential.
Some flexibility of hours may be required to support with fieldwork.
The role sits within the Market and Customer Insight Team, which is part of the wider Marketing, Recruitment and External Relations Directorate. We are focused on the journey students go on from first enquiry to graduation, and your work will have the power to really positively impact on students’ experience with us.
This role is a new role created as part of our ongoing committed to improving and enhancing the Student Experience at Salford and gives you a great opportunity to be central to driving change that has real impact.
