What We Are Looking For...
As a Styling Assistant you will assist the Senior Stylist and Fashion Editor on site and help with product coordination for ecommerce and editorial shoots. Throughout the entire coordination process, the Styling Assistant plays a crucial role in supporting the Senior Stylists and Fashion Editor and contributing to the overall success of the photo shoot. This role mainly works with the Ecommerce studio however they do spend time with Editorial.
Please note this role is a 12-month fixed term contract & you will be required in the office 5 days a week.
- Assisting the Senior Stylists and Fashion Editor in all aspects of an ecommerce /editorial shoot days
- Steam and Prep shoot rails accordingly
- Distribute samples to the appropriate stylists
- Maintain accurate records of who has received each item
- Utilise sample tracking systems or software to monitor movement and status of samples throughout their lifecycle
- Facilitate the return of samples after they have been used for shoots
- Build and maintain relationships with the buying teams to ensure smooth sample process
- Help to dress and accessorize models on shoot days
- Ensure outfits are styled according to the creative vision
- Organise and maintain the styling wardrobe, ensuring it is always up to date with the key styling pieces for all divisions
- Conduct research on fashion trends and themes
- Contribute ideas and inspiration to styling projects
- Handle administrative duties such as spreadsheet and product information accurately
- Identify opportunities to streamline sample management processes, improve efficiency and enhance overall sample coordination process
