Supply Chain Coordinator

Lounge is a dynamic and rapidly growing player in the underwear industry, operating primarily in the eCommerce sector and poised for expansion into retail. We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality products to our customers, and as we embark on this exciting phase of growth, we are seeking a talented and experienced Supply Chain Coordinator to join our small, dedicated team.
Job Overview:
As a Supply Chain Coordinator at Lounge, you will play a pivotal role in managing various aspects of the Supply Chain process, ensuring seamless coordination from PO placement to warehouse delivery. This position involves collaborating closely with various other stakeholders to meet the demands of both eCommerce and retail channels. This role is based in our HQ in Solihull and would require you to be in the office 4 out of 5 days a week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the product & merchandising teams to understand product requirements and create accurate Purchase Orders (POs) for new & re-stock products.
- Ensure timely and accurate submission of POs to suppliers, considering lead times and production schedules.
- Manage the critical path for specific suppliers, tracking key milestones and deadlines to ensure on-time delivery of products.
- Work closely with suppliers to address any potential delays or issues in the production and transportation process.
- Select and coordinate transportation methods for inbound shipments, optimising cost, speed, and reliability.
- Be able to organise transportation to make sure new collections launch on time.
- Collaborate with external logistics partners to track shipments, manage customs clearance, and resolve any logistics-related issues.
- Work closely with other stakeholders in the business such as merchandising, product, eCom, finance & our warehouse team.
- Ensure all documentation, including bills of lading, customs paperwork, and other relevant documents, are accurate, complete, and compliant with regulations.
- Ensure accurate and compliant identification of Harmonized System (HS) codes for imported products.
- Establish effective communication channels with warehouse teams to ensure smooth receipt and storage of incoming shipments.
- Address and resolve any warehouse-related PO issues promptly, maintaining efficient operations.
