Elevation Recruitment Group are delighted to be working with a market leading environmental waste business based in Doncaster, in the search for an experienced Supply Chain Manager. The business offers a fantastic hybrid working package with plenty of training and progression opportunities.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Management of the Supply Chain function ensuring delivery of functional KPIs on supplier selection, annual cost negotiation, vetting, processing supplier payments, compliance and contract administration
- Management of the outsourced waste services function ensuring that service requests from sales are dealt with providing effective and competitive solutions optimising achievement of the C&I sales target
- Effective team management to ensure the successful delivery of objectives
- Managing the Mobilisation Team to ensure high service levels are maintained with suppliers
- Manage a supplier database indicating all known suppliers in the UK, approved suppliers and total spend by supplier & monitoring compliance
- Conduct Risk Assessments on activities within their department ensuring that the methods and systems of work are safe. Also that the necessary procedures, rules and regulations designed to achieve this are applied
The ideal candidate:
-Broad experience covering project management, supplier selection & management
- Proficient in the understanding and application of all aspects of sales and contract documentation including but not limited to key performance indicators, performance management targets and commercial documentation
- Highly numerate and IT literate, with the ability to use management information effectively
- Demonstrable record of successfully identifying and delivering value enhancing initiatives managing a team
