Our client is dedicated to developing innovative heat-pump related products, playing a crucial role in decarbonising heating systems. With a dynamic team boasting a diverse background in successful startups, manufacturing, engineering, marketing, software, and electronics, our client is seeking motivated individuals to join them in bringing their cutting-edge products from prototype to market.
As the Supply Chain Manager, you will be instrumental in orchestrating and optimising the end-to-end Supply Chain operations for our client's innovative products. This is an exceptional opportunity to be a key player in a forward-thinking startup, contributing to the critical mission of creating sustainable solutions for the future. We are looking for a strategic and results-driven individual to join our client's team and lead the charge in establishing a robust and efficient Supply Chain.
Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement Supply Chain strategies to optimise cost, quality, and delivery performance.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast demand, plan procurement, and manage inventory levels effectively.
* Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating terms and ensuring timely deliveries.
* Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess and improve Supply Chain efficiency.
* Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices to enhance overall Supply Chain performance.
* Manage logistics, distribution, and warehouse operations to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products.
* Oversee compliance with regulations and standards related to Supply Chain activities.
Qualifications:
* Proven experience in Supply Chain management, preferably in an engineering or manufacturing setting.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
* Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
* Proficiency in using Supply Chain management software and tools.
* A strategic mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
