Description
You will be overseeing and optimising the company's Supply Chain, Demand Planning and Procurement operations. Implementing and maintaining efficient and effective end to end Supply Chain processes, ensuring timely and cost-effective procurement of materials and strong customer service levels through effective planning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor inventory levels, track deliveries and manage stock levels to optimise inventory turnover and minimise stockouts
- Manage and streamline the Supply Chain and procurement processes
- Developing and maintaining demand forecasting models and tools
- Ensure MRP is effective and Production Planning supports successful delivery to Customers and maintains OTIF in line with business expectations
- Ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements and ethical standards in all Supply Chain & Procurement activities
- Develop strategic plans to improve productivity, quality, and efficiency of operations
- Manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts
- Implement effective inventory management strategies
- Oversee procurement & Supply Chain departmental budget
- Collaborate with other departments to forecast demand and manage stock levels
- Adhere to all company procedures and regulatory compliance requirements
- Lead, coach and develop a high-performing team
- Lead by example and ensure you and the team uphold and adhere to all Health and Safety and Food Safety culture requirements, policies and procedures
Profile
A Supply Chain Manager with manufacturing or distribution experience (ideally FMCG) and the following:
- Strong analytical, forecasting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills, capable of building and maintaining relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders
- Experience utilising an MRP system (ideally SAP) as well as Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
- The ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Experience managing a small team
