SalaryTeacherActive are looking to grow our pool of Supply Teachers to support growing demand from our partner schools around Gravesend and Northfleet. As a Supply Teacher you will be responsible for supervising classes of students and delivering planned cover work provided by the class teacher. A Supply Teacher role is ideal for recent graduates looking to pursue a career in education, or for educators that have experience of coaching and training school aged students.
If you're reliant on public transport the schools are well connected to Ebbslfleet International so accessible from Stratford in East London or Rochester in the Medway towns
A successful Supply Teacher will have:
- Degree qualified
- Experience with supervising Children within a school setting
- Experience working within a Secondary Setting, or coaching secondary aged students
- A good understanding of Safeguarding and Child Protection
- Excellent behavioural management
