Support Worker | Hemel Hempstead | 40 hour week | Day and Night Shifts | £24,400 per annum for 40 hours/week

• Building meaningful relationships with young adults
• Experience dealing with Mental Health
• Excellent communication skills with colleagues, families, and other professionals
• Ability to write clear and concise reports
• Understanding and meeting the diverse needs of young adults through planning and assessment
• Experience in working with learning difficulties, autism, challenging behaviour, and complex medical needs
• Emotional resilience when facing these challenges
• Caring environment experience
• Commitment to ongoing professional development, including staying updated on mandatory training
• Basic ICT skills
• Knowledge of CQC Regulations, Health and Social Care Act 2008, and CQC Registration Regulations 2009
• Familiarity with various communication methods, Positive Behaviour Support, safeguarding procedures, and Equal Opportunities implementation

• Implementation of Care Quality Commission [CQC] regulations to the highest standards
• Adherence to policies and procedures
• Creating a safe and supportive environment for young adults
• Acting as a positive role model
• Conducting assessments of needs for each young adult
• Maintaining detailed records and reports for care plans
• Contributing to domestic duties and ensuring high standards of cleanliness
• Meeting the rights and needs of young adults in all aspects
• Promoting and maintaining positive anti-discrimination practices
• Active participation in staff meetings, supervision sessions, and training sessions
• Demonstration of good practice in all areas of work
