Support Worker

Darlington, DL1 (20 min walk from North Road, Darlington Train Station)
£11.66 per hour from 01/04/2024 (£45 per Sleep-in-Shift)
Part Time (Up to 32 hours per week)

Who will I be supporting?
You will be supporting 1 gent in his 40s with learning disabilities and autism to live independently.
He loves airplane watching, attending football matches, art, bike rides and fishing.
A friendly Support Worker who enjoys anything outdoors would be a wonderful match.
What will I be doing?
You will be supporting them to live their lives how they choose and to achieve their goals
You will also be supporting them with their food shopping, paying bills, and encouraging their independence with domestic tasks such as cooking, cleaning, and laundry.
What shifts are available?
We currently we provide support through 24-hour shifts starting at 9am one day and finishing at 9am the following day with a sleepover included.
Rotas are provided at least 4 weeks in advance to support a healthy work life balance - something we're very passionate about!
