Your new opportunity

Quarriers ABC Supported Living service based in Greenock are currently recruiting a Support Worker working 20-30 hours per week, to assist in the provision of individualised support to adults, with a wide range of disabilities, either on an individual 1:1 basis or alongside others and as part of a team. 

We deliver care to adults who have a wide range of support needs, who live within their own tenancies and deliver this support across Central and West Greenock. As a Support Worker you will be providing support with their personal care and encouraging them to achieve their own personal outcomes in all aspects of their daily lives. You will be supporting adults within their own homes, to maintain their own tenancies, accessing their local communities, both socially and practically, to live full and rewarding life's.

We work on monthly rotas,we believe in a healthy work life balance. 

What you will need to bring to the role

• Compassion and kindness to support people in their day to day lives.
• Enthusiasm and self-motivation.
• Ability to apply transferable life experience and skills to support and enable individuals.
• Excellent problem solver who is driven by positive outcomes.
• Resilient, reliable and an excellent listener.
• Good IT & communication skills.
• A driving licence is desirable but not essential.
