This an exciting opportunity for caring, compassionate and talented Support Workers, to work within a well-established service, supporting 5 individuals, with learning disabilities. 
 
This service is has a large garden and a communal kitchen, dining room and lounge, which the people we support engage in house activities, eat their meals or even have a party or two! 
 
The people supported here enjoy a variety of different things, such as walks along the harbour to get a pub lunch and also going shopping! 
 
They would describe themselves as a fun bunch and love a good laugh. A great sense of humour is key to support them in their home!
 
The staff team here, work a three shift rota: early shift; 7:30 – 15:00, late shift; 14:00 – 21:30 and night shift 21:15 – 07:45. There is usually at least three staff members on shift during the day and one on shift at night. 

We’re looking for candidates who are caring, dedicated, love working with people and share the values that make our charity so special.

Prior experience of working in care isn’t always necessary. If you have other skills and experiences that you can bring to this role, we will give you all the support that you need to succeed! However, due to service location, ability to drive to service is advantageous.

You’ll be able to come to work every day and use the very best of your personality and skills, as you support people who share your interests to do the things they love the most.
