We are recruiting for Support Workers to support 6 gentleman who share a large bungalow in a nice quiet estate in the Drumoyne/Govan area of Glasgow.

The people we support have faced a lot of challenges in the past because of their learning disabilities and physical disabilities but this hasn’t stopped them from enjoying life! They enjoy lots of activities, including going out for walks, catching up with friends, listening to music, aromatherapy and keeping in touch with their families.  They have a large shared garden which they love to use in the summer for events.  However, they’re always up for trying new things, so are looking for inventive people who are up for the challenge.

Our support team are very diverse and work well together to ensure the people we support are happy and safe in their own homes.  This can include:

Supporting them with medication
Cooking 
Assisting with personal care and mobility support
Maintaining the homes of people supported and managing their finances 

Our team provide support 24 hours a day, so we are looking for some flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including some weekends and possibly waking nights.  Our shift pattern can vary but is generally:
Options to do 7 hours (single shifts) or 14 hour (double sifts) 
 
We are currently recruiting for a full-time role for 37.5 hour per week
