We are looking to recruit Support Workers for our supported living house based in, West Yorkshire area, Leeds, Castleford, Normanton, Wakefield
Please note we are only taking full-time Support Workers with experience in a similar role in the UK
Day and Night shifts available
8am-8pm
8pm-8am
The shifts will be from Monday- Sunday, one week 3 long shifts per week, next one 4 long shifts per week over rota
A Support Worker is a professional who is responsible for the wellbeing of people living with different physical abilities and mental health needs. Their role is to support clients to live their lives more independently and support them to reach their potential by providing both physical and emotional support. As each person has unique needs, the roles and responsibilities of a Support Worker can vary significantly.

About you:
We are looking for someone who has:
- Experience in a similar role is desirable
- Willingness to learn.
- You must be currently resident in the UK
- You must have the right to work in the UK, no sponsorship offered
- Excellent communication skills.
- You must be friendly and well-organised with an excellent work ethic.
What are your duties as a Support Worker:
Responsabilities include:
- Ensure the highest possible levels of care are maintained by supporting and assisting Residents when required with all aspects of daily living
- Assist Residents in all aspects of their care needs, e.g. physical, emotional and spiritual
- Provide supervision and attention when needed, ensuring Residents retain their comfort and dignity
- Observe care planning needs for Residents and completed daily records as instructed
- Assist in framework of social activities by interacting with Residents and helping them continue with hobbies and activities in the Care Centre
- Answer Nurse Call system, giving assistance as required
- Answer the door and telephone appropriately
- Respond accordingly, and pass on messages promptly
- Report on well-being of Residents
- Clean and maintain equipment used by Residents and Relatives e.g. wheelchairs, hearing aids, spectacles etc
