OBJECTIVES
- To become the key point of contact between Sauter and its customers.
- To obtain enquiries for HVAC system controls and building management systems within the heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning industry.
- To ensure the highest possible take rate for orders/quotations.
- To constantly review, appraise and extend the individual client list.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND MAJOR ACTIVITIES
- To visit Consulting Engineers, End Users, Clients and Contractors in the region to provide sales presentations/demonstrations and to obtain approval and specification for Sauter equipment and solutions.
- To obtain and prepare quotations at a rate commensurate with the agreed order budget for the region.
- To develop and maintain strong customer relationships by regular contact with clients in order to offer project/product advice, introduce new products etc.
- To monitor the operation of the competition and advise the Company regarding changes of price, delivery, and technical merit.
- To prepare monthly reports detailing order intake, latest forecasts, expected margin.
- Prepare quarterly action plans and strategies to ensure short term and long term success for the company
- Build an internal network with your Technical Department colleagues and Operations Department colleagues to maximise your opportunity to succeed.
- Build strong working relationships with our existing supply chain in order to ensure we obtain the very best prices to allow you to be successful.
PERSON SPECIFICATION
- Minimum 5 years' experience selling Building Management Systems (BMS) into the UK construction market
- Strongly motivated to operate in a highly competitive market
- Have a good understanding of how the procurement process of securing BMS is achieved
- Have a minimum level of technical knowledge
- Have a good understanding of the commercial aspects of securing a large BMS installation
- Flexibility to travel
