Systematic Quantitative Researcher/Trader - Desk Lead

My client is a leading prop firm in HFT and short term systematic trading in equities, FX and futures. This firm trades on key exchanges such as CME, ICE, and Eurex, and has low cost, cutting-edge infrastructure. The firm is looking for Quant PMs/Traders to set up their own desks. This would allow access to the low-cost platform the firm has to offer, and presents the opportunity for Quant Traders to scale up with significant risk allocations. Compensation includes competitive PnL based payouts on top of strong base compensation, and working opportunities in-office or remotely.

The Role:

• Carry out research using quantitative methods, using and developing models, and researching strategies.
• Implement systematic strategies and manage risk for your own book.
• Lead analysts and researchers in your pod, and work with developers to improve/maintain infrastructure and develop strategies.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience as a PM or Quant Trader, researching and trading systematic strategies in FX/futures- other asset class experience is welcome.
• Strong coding abilities in Python, C++, etc.
• Experience leading/managing a team at another buyside firm is ideal.
