Job Title: Server Administrator - Based on client site (6 Month Contract - Inside IR35) Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Server Administrator to be based on client site on a 6-month Contract basis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining our organisation's server infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, security, and reliability. This role requires a proactive and detail-oriented professional with strong technical expertise in server administration, troubleshooting, and system optimization. Responsibilities: Server Management: Install, configure, and maintain server hardware and software components. Monitor server performance and ensure high levels of system availability. Conduct regular system updates, patches, and firmware upgrades. Implement and maintain backup and recovery strategies for Servers. Security and Compliance: Implement and enforce security measures to safeguard server infrastructure. Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments. Ensure compliance with industry regulations and best practices. Troubleshooting and Support: Diagnose and resolve server-related issues in a timely manner. Provide technical support to end-users and other IT staff. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address and resolve system-related challenges. Performance Optimization: Analyze server performance metrics and optimize configurations for efficiency. Identify and address bottlenecks to improve overall system
