Talent Attraction Partner

Salary: £34,905 per annum
Hours: Full Time
Contract Type: Open Ended (Permanent)
Location: Hybrid Working - Base Location: Polaris House, Swindon, Wiltshire or Rutherford Appleton Laboratory, Didcot.

Job Overview:

To proactively develop and run recruitment marketing campaigns and Talent Attraction projects that attract diverse future talent to the UKRI Workforce. Working within the UKRI Talent team to champion new ways of working, support implementation and run new and existing tools and processes, ensuring UKRI are best placed to engage and attract the right people at the right time. Offer subject matter expert advice and specialist guidance that meet customer needs and shapes campaigns.

Key Responsibilities:

Talent Attraction

  • Develop and run Talent Attraction projects, ensuring communication, engagement and metrics are effective and aligned to best practice.
  • Support the Talent Attraction team with the creation and roll out of the UKRI Talent Attraction Framework as well as supporting individual council or skill attraction strategies as required.
  • Review and create materials and content to ensure it captures the essence of working at UKRI and is aligned to the Talent Attraction framework messages, segmented to target talent pools.
  • Create and manage a schedule of content aligned to the talent strategy. Updating and collaborating with colleagues to update content on multiple platforms as required to keep content relevant, timely and impactful to keep target audience informed and engaged with careers at UKRI.
  • Support organisational understanding of social platforms, supporting initiatives to build employee advocacy and tools to aid embedding new ways of working into business as usual.
  • Working with colleagues across UKRI to map, audit, and support projects to understand the candidate journey and experience across our careers sites, website pages and microsites. Using analytics to understand and make recommendations for improvements
  • Using available data, create metrics to support the Talent Attraction team to measure and report to key stakeholders on the impact of initiatives. Use this reporting to inform future processes, continuous improvement and annual procurement of each product.
  • Work closely with UKRI Recruitment delivery team, Communications and ED&I colleagues to ensure that varied attraction methods and activities are activated and aligned.

Project Management

  • Manage multiple, ongoing projects at the same time
  • Support projects through development and into business as usual
  • Take an active role in work review meetings and make informed recommendations on projects

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, working collaboratively across HR and UKRI to embed Talent Attraction initiatives and drive continuous improvement.
  • Using knowledge of various attraction methods, work collaboratively on complex recruitment campaigns as part of a multifunctional team.

HR Community

  • Work together with HR colleagues to ensure that ‘One HR’ culture is role modelled and ensure that HR initiatives and proposed changes are prioritised, appropriate, well planned, and well delivered.

Person Specification:

Essential

  • Experience in resourcing, recruitment marketing and/or Talent Attraction, providing inclusive attraction solutions to complex needs.
  • Experience of developing recruitment marketing campaigns with a good understanding of the available channels, metrics and strategies that can be deployed to reach the target audience.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of the candidate journey, including knowledge of websites, SEO and Google analytics.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of an Employer Value Proposition (EVP) and Employer Brand.
  • Experience of collaborating with and influencing stakeholders at all levels within a large complex organisation.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written with excellent attention to detail. Highly organised and self-reliant. Comfortable working on multiple projects with the ability to progress projects pragmatically and deliver to deadlines effectively, in a developing landscape.

Hybrid Working

Offered on a hybrid working basis. Your base location will be either Polaris House, Swindon, Wiltshire or Rutherford Appleton Laboratory, Didcot, Oxfordshire. Anticipated visits to your base location would be 2-4 times per month for collaborative working.
