About The Role

• Prepare, review, and file accurate and timely tax returns, including income tax, VAT, and other relevant taxes for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and trusts
• Provide tax planning and consulting services to clients
• Conduct research and stay updated about changes in tax laws, rules, and regulations in the United Kingdom.
• Review financial statements and analyse financial data to identify tax-saving opportunities
• Assist with tax audits and respond to inquiries from tax authorities
• Manage relationships with external tax consultants, auditors, and legal counsel when needed for specialised tax matters or during audits
• Manage a team of 4 staff

Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent experience
• ACA or ACCA (part or fully) qualified
• 2+ years of experience in accounting and financial reporting, preferably in UK Public Practice
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong communication skills, adept at engaging with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
