Applications are welcome from suitably qualified NQTs as well as experienced, committed teachers to join a large and highly successful department. Graveney is an oversubscribed, co-educational school.
Sciences are very popular at Graveney and consequently we have many students who continue studying science to A-level. There are currently over 200 students studying A-level Biology therefore you will be expected to teach at all key stages including A-level.
We have high expectations of our students with many aspiring to medicine or Oxbridge applications. At Key Stage 4, most students study separate sciences and staff only teach within their subject specialism.
This role offers an exciting opportunity for an inspiring teacher to work in a supportive and energetic team. The successful candidate will need to have excellent subject knowledge, be an outstanding teacher who is keen to develop their practice and bring continued success to our students.
