The job itself
We are seeking to appoint a committed and enthusiastic teacher to join our Humanities Department at Holderness Academy & Sixth Form College. Holderness Academy & Sixth Form College is part of The Consortium Academy Trust. The appointed person will consistently deliver high-quality learning opportunities to young people, ensuring aspirational standards of behaviour, engagement and achievement are evident at all times, while contributing to the calm environment of the Academy. The successful candidate should be able to teach History to KS5 and Geography to KS3.
Classroom teachers must ensure they work within the policies and procedures as laid out by the Trust and provide a good role model for young people, both in and out of the school environment. All teaching staff are expected to meet the national core standards for professionals at all times.
The appointed person will promote excellent behaviour and conduct, be committed to safeguarding and student welfare, and should also be keen to engage in the wider life of our community school.
