As a Psychology & Sociology Teacher, you will deliver engaging and comprehensive lessons to students across Key Stages 4 and 5. Your expertise and enthusiasm for the subject will motivate students to explore and understand the complexities of human behaviour, preparing them for success in their exams and beyond. You will be able to inspire, enthuse and encourage students to enjoy their learning, leading to a desire to achieve their highest potential.
Applications from both experienced Teachers and Newly Qualified Teachers would be welcomed. Whether you are an experienced teacher or an Early Career Teacher, this role offers an opportunity to make a significant impact by teaching across Key Stages 3 and 4.
To support this, we offer a wide range of opportunities beyond the core curriculum, whether in the Arts, which include school productions, dance, drama, and music performances, or through our extensive sports programme, which takes advantage of grass and 4G pitches, a Sports hall with a specialist dance studio, and a Multi-Use Games Area.
Our state-of-the-art building and world-class facilities use the latest technology, including the Google Education platform, to enhance the learning environment. Most importantly, children and young adults at Greenwood Academy tell us they enjoy coming to school and feel safe and secure.
We want someone who believes that no student should be held back by their economic background and is passionate about literature and delivering the best knowledge to our pupils.
