- Delivering high-quality science instruction, utilizing a range of teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
- Designing and implementing assessments to gauge students' understanding and progress, providing timely and constructive feedback to guide their learning.
- Identifying and addressing the diverse learning needs of students by providing extra support or enrichment opportunities.
- Collaborating with other science teachers and faculty members to align teaching strategies, share resources, and develop interdisciplinary projects that integrate science with other subjects.
- PGCE in Secondary Science with QTS or other UK recognised teaching qualification.
- GCSE, ICT, Biology, Physics and Chemistry teaching experience in the last 2 years is essential.
- Have the capability to foster curiosity and interest for the subject.
- Strong command of the curriculum and good behaviour management skills.
- Be committed to child protection, safeguarding, and pupil welfare.
- Hold a Child Only DBS registered to the update service or be willing to apply for one with GSL Education. DBS sponsorship is available for this position.
