Crosshill School is an outward looking and successful school for Children with special educational needs. We are part of the Champion Education Trust. We relocated to our new site in Darwen last year which has continued to be developed and expanded.
We are committed to providing outstanding opportunities for all our students to enable them to become the best they can be. We do this by providing excellent teaching and support and an inspiring and well thought out curriculum. This enables our students to overcome a diverse array of barriers to learning and additional challenges, to grow in confidence and to become successful, caring young people prepared for life and work when they leave us.
We are a secondary special school for students aged 11 to 19 years old who have an Educational Health Care Plan for a wide variety of learning difficulties and disabilities. We are currently consulting on extending our age range to include Key stage 1 and Key stage 2.

- Students who enjoy learning and thrive on their personalised curriculum and wide range of activities;
