The Opportunity:
We are thrilled to announce an enticing opportunity for a Teaching Assistant at this academy groups Kenley campus. This is a full-time, term-time-only, permanent role. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in assisting students in overcoming learning obstacles and reaching their maximum potential. Your responsibilities may involve working one-on-one with a student or supporting small groups.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assist students across various subjects in both primary and secondary school.
- Collaborate closely with teachers to design, create, and implement customised learning activities for individuals, groups, or entire classes across all grade levels.
- Offer personalised learning support in accordance with a student-centered approach.
- Inspire and guide students, aiding in the development of essential attributes, skills, and knowledge.
- Cultivate positive and enduring relationships with students, addressing their distinct learning needs.
- Evaluate and monitor student progress using diverse assessment methods.

You Will:
- Have recent experience as a Teaching Assistant or demonstrate a strong passion for working with students aged 7+.
- Possess knowledge of, or be willing to learn about, the National curriculum and additional support needs.
- Demonstrate effective written and verbal communication skills.
