We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and committed Teaching Assistant to join our team for September ‘24 or sooner.
The successful candidate will work with children from across the school, falling under the line management of the Assistant Head/SENCo. Duties and responsibilities can range from supporting children on a 1:1 basis in a key worker role to delivering targeted interventions and also supporting teaching & learning in classrooms, as well as supporting at lunch time.

- has excellent communication and interpersonal skills and will work closely and collaborate with colleagues;
- is committed to supporting individual pupils with a range of strengths and special educational needs;
- has excellent literacy and numeracy skills (ideally, with GCSE at grade C or above in both subjects);
- is positive and resilient;
- is excited by the future and keen to develop themselves as a practitioner.

Previous experience in supporting children in a primary school setting or working to support children’s differing needs would be advantageous.
Contract/Hours: up to 32.5 hours per week. This post will be permanent, with a six-month probation period. Additional hours also available, working in our Before and After School Club.
Salary Type: Grade 4 based on 32.5 hours per week - £17, 023.
