We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our excellent school, working to support a year 2 class.
We are looking for someone who:
- Has experience working with children.
- Has an adaptive, consistent and kind approach when supporting children to do their best.
- Has good standards of written oral English and Maths skills.
- Uses positive behaviour strategies following our school’s behaviour policy.
- Is energetic, committed and resilient
- Has a positive attitude, good sense of humour and has a ‘can do’ approach.
- Has the ability to work as a team: can liaise with the class teacher and SENDCO to ensure learning takes place at the appropriate level.
The successful candidate must be available to work 08:30-15:15 on a Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

As a school, we are keen to support the future development of our Teaching Assistants, through regular CPD opportunities and a willingness to support candidates wishing to pursue a formal qualification and future career development.
