TeacherActive are currently looking for a highly motivated and caring Primary Teaching Assistant to join a school in Huddersfield. If you are enthusiastic, compassionate, and committed to supporting the learning and development of young minds. This school has brilliant educational facilities and offer opportunities both inside and outside of lessons to promote students engagement, to help them flourish personally and academically.

The school is looking for a Teaching Assistant who has experience working with children and can support the class teacher. The successful candidate will be working with small groups of learners as well as assisting them on a 1:1 basis. This could be in reading, writing and phonics.

The successful Primary Teaching Assistant will have:

• Good curriculum knowledge
• A strong desire to help learners reach their full potential
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management
• Minimum Level 2 Teaching Assistant / TA qualification
