Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Sheffield
Hours: Monday to Thursday, 8.45am-2.30pm, Friday 8.45am-11.30am
Are you a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant looking for an exciting opportunity to make a real impact primary student education? Tradewind Recruitment are currently seeking an SEN Teaching Assistant to join a dynamic team at a primary school in Sheffield. The role will involve working with students across the primary age range.
Key Responsibilities:
As an SEN Teaching Assistant your primary responsibilities will include:
Individual Support: Offer one-to-one assistance for students who require additional help.
Whole Class Support: Providing support for the class under the direction of the class teacher.
Behaviour Management: Contribute to maintaining a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Assessment and Reporting: Assist in the assessment of students' progress and contribute to written reports.
Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the teaching team, parents, and external professionals to support the overall development of students.Qualifications and Experience:
SEN Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school setting.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
A passion for education and the well-being of students.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.Working Hours:
Monday to Thursday, 8.45am-2.30pm, Friday 8.45am-11.30am.

The position is based in Sheffield, providing a convenient and accessible location for both residents and commuters.
