Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our educator team to work in Chesterfield and the surrounding area. As a Supply Teaching Assistant, you'll have the opportunity to work in a variety of educational settings. Your main role will be to support teachers in delivering high-quality education and provide additional assistance to students to enhance their learning experience.
Responsibilities:
- Assist teachers with classroom preparation and management.
- Support individual students and small groups with their learning activities.
- Help maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Supervise students during breaks and other activities as needed.
- Provide additional support for students with special educational needs.
- Assist with the assessment and recording of student progress.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar educational role is preferred but not essential.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a passion for working with children.
- A flexible and proactive approach to work.
- A relevant qualification in education or childcare is advantageous.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
