Highfield Hall Primary School are looking for an inspiring, energetic and enthusiastic HLTA to join our happy and established team. This is an exciting opportunity to join our warm and friendly school where you will find that the children are simply amazing! Our culture has the well-being and success of our children, families and team at the heart of everything we do. Within our nurturing environment, we uphold the highest educational standards, ensuring that every child realise their full potential.
We are seeking to appoint a passionate and dedicated Higher Level Teaching and Learning Assistant whose commitment and ethos align with our own. The successful candidate will support class teachers by covering classes during planning, preparation and assessment time (PPA). Schemes are purchased for every subject in our curriculum, meaning that there is already high-quality planning in place, meaning that you can focus on delivery rather than having to plan lessons.
Our professional offer includes:
- PPA, at home, for half a day per week.
- Continuous professional development.
- Two “Thank You Days” for every member of staff, in addition to their holiday allocation (one paid, one unpaid). This allows every member of staff to celebrate a special birthday, take a long weekend, extend a holiday, or just spend a day of their choosing, as they wish.
- Schemes purchased for every subject in our curriculum, ensuring that time is spent enhancing already high-quality planning, rather than reinventing the wheel.
If you feel that you are the talented HLTA we are looking for, we would urge you to visit our inspirational school (and browse our website here: https://www.highfieldhall.derbyshire.sch.uk/web/ ).
Highfield Hall is a large primary school in Newbold, Chesterfield with over 400 pupils on role.
Visits are warmly welcomed and can be arranged by telephoning Mike Bywaters (Head Teacher) on 01246 273534. The post is to commence from 1st September 2024.
At Highfield Hall Primary School we are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of our children and expect all staff to share this commitment.
