We are looking for an engaging & friendly multiskilled Team Leader - Retail Store to join on our team, helping support our team to deliver exceptional customer service.
Duties:
- Provide exceptional customer service to all shoppers
- Assist customers in finding products and making purchasing decisions
- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently
- Stock shelves and merchandise displays
- Answer customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals
- Replenishing stock to ensure this is kept at optimum levels
- establish work schedules and manage team to increase productivity
- liaises with managers to resolve operational problems;
Requirements:
- Previous experience in retail sales is preferred
- Knowledge of Afghani Grocery/South Asian Food products is essential
- Strong selling skills with the ability to upsell and cross-sell products
- Excellent organizational skills to maintain a tidy sales floor and merchandise displays
- Supervising skills to oversee the work of junior staff members
- Time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Ability to manage multiple customers simultaneously while providing personalized service
- Team management skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues
- Administrative skills to handle paperwork, inventory management, and cash handling accurately
- Bilingual proficiency is preferred i.e, Hindi/Urdu and Afghani language.
- Knowledge of retail management systems and point-of-sale software is beneficial
- Professional phone etiquette for answering customer inquiries or taking orders over the phone
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £28,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
