Team Leader

A growing business within the Financial Services sector is looking for an experienced Team Leader with a passion for leading and motivating a team. You will be managing a team providing telephone support with account queries, amendments, complaints, applications, and escalating complex complaints and reports of fraud. 
The successful candidate will work 37.5 hours per week, working shifts across Monday-Friday, between the hours of 08:00-20:00. Saturdays will be worked once every 4 weeks between the hours of 09:00-17:00, when a Saturday is worked you will get the time back in lieu the following week. Shifts will be provided in advance and this role offers home working within the UK. 
Hands on training will be provided for the first few weeks so you will be confident with systems and providing an exceptional service. 
You will benefit from remote working, pensions contributions and holiday pay on this fixed term contract. 
Full training would be provided to help you settle into the systems and the role. 
As a Team Leader you will:

• Undertake performance management for the team
• Review and take ownership for work allocation
• Provide day to day support and guidance
• Support and be the main conduit from the case handling team into the clients SMEs.
• Spot potential complex queries/complaints and escalating where required.

The successful Team Leader will have the following skills and experience:

• Strong managerial background within the Financial Services sector, ideally within a complaints department
• Excellent communication skills, to include fluent English both written and verbal.
• Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
• Numerate, analytical with excellent IT systems orientation including knowledge of Word and Excel.
• Flexible and dedicated with the desire to succeed.
