Role: Team Leader supporting a team of Catering Assistants (Partnership role title Catering Assistant, Team Leader)
Hours: 37.5. 5/7 days per week, 2 weekends in 4 will be required, 11:30-19:30
Position: Fixed Term/Secondment
About the role:
As a leader in our business, your number one focus is to challenge and empower your teams and others to create more value for our customers and our business.You’ll contribute to the growth and efficiency of the Hospitality and Food Service profession within the Partnership. To do this you’ll be an exemplary operator, ensuring standards are delivered to the highest possible standard while task managing your team
Job Requirements:
- To actively deliver excellent customer service and quality food to our internal customers - our Partners.
- Leading and Supporting a team of catering assistants to ensure a smooth service is provided in accordance with all relevant procedures.
- To ensure stock available to meet service requirements, with attention being given to controlling wastage and ensuring food is rotated and no items are left beyond their sell by date.
- To act promptly on any Partner comments, using initiative to resolve them where possible and report issues or unsolvable day-to-day problems to the line manager.
Essential skills you’ll need
Previous catering experience and leading a Team
Worked in a fast paced customer facing environment.
