The successful candidate will be responsible for all Information Systems management and support. As the Team Leader, you will have line management responsibility for 2-3 team members.
Your new role involves:
Providing second and third line support for major internal department systems
Planning and implementing upgrades, problem-solving, and acting as the interface between suppliers and users.
Managing external support contracts for applications.
Managing the day-to-day support of all applications
Database administration and support
Formatting and manipulating data to provide management information.
Finding solutions to technical problems within the resources available.
Adapting existing procedures and producing new ones.
Juggling conflicting demands on time on a continuous basis.
Communicating effectively with other professionals and stakeholders across the organisation.
What you'll need to succeed
Experience of providing system support selection, implementation, upgrades, backups, and troubleshooting.
Experience of database administration and support for relational databases (e.g. Oracle, SQL Server).
Experience of formatting and manipulating data to provide management information.
Ideally, some knowledge of IDOX Uniform, Civica OPENRevenues, Geographic Information Systems, Oracle SQL queries, Microsoft SQL Server queries, Reporting (e.g. MS Access, Power BI), MS Power Automate and MS Forms would be an advantage.
Well-organised, efficient and flexible.
Ability to communicate effectively with other professionals and stakeholders
Ability to find solutions to technical problems within the resources available.

This is a permanent vacancy offering a salary between 45,000pa - 52,000pa + benefits.
