Due to our exciting growth plans we are looking to recruit a Sales Manager to join our Insight team who will report into the Divisional Sales Director and will be responsible for delivering targets against a portfolio of digital products, ranging from in-depth thought leadership content to online data tools.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop strong relationships with targeted key customers to win new business.
- Complete Account Management activities as and when required including, but not limited to, develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, identify opportunities to upsell and upgrade, and support the renewal cycle.
- Work with your colleagues in the company to ensure highest standards of delivery and identify opportunities for up-selling and cross-selling to increase company revenue.
- Provide regular training to others in the business on these areas.
- Deliver effective communications, which can be adjusted depending on the product and audience.
- Lead client meetings and communicate new product developments, obtaining client feedback.
- Lead and manage a team of Business Development Executives
- Work with the Sales Director to establish a consistent coaching and training program that delivers improved results and provides career development for your team
- Responsible for strong pipeline management and forecasting to ensure that monthly and quarterly targets are achieved.
- Establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing sales quotas for regions and brands, projecting sales volumes and profit.
- Develop, implement and track both personal and team plans to maximise new business opportunities by developing sales to meet revenue targets.
- Ensure the development and implementation of Team annual sales plans based on analysing trends, economic indicators and competitors.

Skills Knowledge and Expertise
- 4+ years B2B sales experience and a minimum of 2+ year of managing a sales team or sales person.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills, in particular a highly professional telephone manner
- Self – motivated ad highly driven with a desire to exceed targets
- Ability to work to targets and showcase resilience in challenging situations
- Strong management skills with the ability to motivate team members, manage performance, and contribute to a culture of sales excellence.
- Proven track record in on boarding and coaching sales representatives
- Strong time management skills - Highly organized with the ability to multi-task, prioritize and delegate where necessary.
- The ability to set and measure objectives and the means in place to ensure these are followed up on and met.
- Ability to forecast and report accurately in Salesforce.
- Highly enthusiastic and a ‘can do’ attitude.
