Technical Accountant - M&A

Radley Green is partnering with a global, PE backed business based in London to recruit a Group Technical Accountant with a focus on M&A and providing broad technical accounting expertise.

This role will be part of a small, technical accounting team, based in London, that provide all technical accounting support to the broader business globally.

This role will pay £95k - £105k plus bonus, great benefits and hybrid working.

The responsibilities include:

• Project manage the technical accounting workstream , or various projects including acquisitions and disposals.
• Manage financial due diligence, purchase accounting preparation of closing and opening balance sheets, transaction cost tracking, post-close account and purchase price adjustment for acquisitions.
• Support accounting integration including systems, policies, procedures and internal controls.
• Prepare technical accounting papers for management and auditors on transactions
• Play a key role in the development of accounting policies, procedures and systems for relevant accounting and reporting
• Keep up to date with key technical accounting research including keeping abreast of all regulation / legislation changes

Candidates should be / have:

• Experienced Technical accountant with the ability to analyse complex financial information
• Audit and Accounting Advisory experience
• Qualified ACA with a Big 4 (or equivalent) background
