About the role:
As a Technical Assistant, you'll play a pivotal role in our 24/7 operation, serving as a guardian of our cutting-edge technology. Picture yourself in a dynamic environment where we process a staggering 190,000 - 200,000 customer orders every week, all from our Dordon facility. But wait, there's more! You'll be part of an incredible team of Engineers and Technicians working together to make this magic happen.

Job Overview: Get ready to dive into the action! Your role will involve hands-on technical troubleshooting, known as "Jambusting," and keeping things sparkling clean in case of product spillages.
Salary £24,150 per annum
Roles and Responsibilities:
Resolve Jams: Be our hero in tackling tote and pallet jams on our conveyor systems.
Tech Savvy: Utilise computerised systems to complete jam reports and maintenance logs, highlighting your basic computer literacy skills.
Safety First: Champion a culture of safety, raising any health and safety concerns with your line management.
Hygiene Matters: Maintain automation equipment cleanliness and hygiene standards, including some heavy-duty cleaning tasks like mopping floors.
Flexibility is Key: Expect a mix of physical activity, repetitive tasks, and monitoring automated systems, keeping you on your toes (literally)!
What We Need From You:
Know-How: Some familiarity with automated warehouses and their technical components will set you on the right track.
Communication Skills: We value your ability to communicate effectively and share knowledge with the team.
Desirable Experience: While we provide comprehensive training, prior experience in an automated warehouse or logistics environment is a plus. Be ready to adapt to changing schedules based on business needs.
Language Skills: Comfortable with English at a B1 level.
