Remuneration: £45,000 - £50,000neg + Company performance bonus

The role of the Technical Manager Glazing & Cladding Systems will involve:

Technical Manager role dealing with a range of structural glazing, aluminium windows, doors, curtain walling rooflight & atrium systems

Dealing with external clients consisting of architects, design managers, Technical Managers, consultants and subcontracted engineers & designers

Internally liaising with the designing, production & project delivery team, providing practical assistance and technical advice

Supporting with technical assessments & calculations to ensure compliant quotations are delivered accurately and in a timely manner

Responsible for the technical submittals to clients, being the main point of contact for clients faade consultants and Technical Managers

Liaise with and manage external teams of faade engineers & specialist window, door & curtain walling designers

The ideal applicant will be a Technical Manager Glazing & Cladding Systems with:

Must have extensive knowledge of architectural glazing and be able to specify aluminium products such as: fixings, bracketry, passive fire protection

Must have a working knowledge of the Building Safety Act as well as regulations and guidelines surrounding structural & fire requirements for aluminium faades

Must be proficient with CAD software and other design tools to create detailed drawings

Either possess a MSc in faade engineering or be willing to work towards achieving this with company support

Exceptional communication skills

Effective time management and organisational skills
