An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the City of Lincoln Council Safety Assurance Team as a Technical Officer - Fire Safety on a permanent basis.
The Technical Officer - Fire safety will ensure compliance with legislation and best practice in Fire Safety and all health and safety matters relating to housing services and a construction industry. This will include to be responsible for ensuring the Fire Risk Assessments are undertaken and reviewed to the housing stock.
The successful candidate will have a thorough understanding of health and safety legislation and statutory requirements and the application of such to provide sensible and proportionate advice, especially in relation to Fire Safety and the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order, Fire Safety (England) Regulations, and Building Safety Act.
The successful candidate will hold a NEBOSH National General Certificate in Occupational Health & Safety and/or a NEBOSH National Certificate in Construction Health & Safety and a Level 3 Fire Safety Certificate or above and at least 3 years’ experience carrying out Fire Risk Assessments.
