Mission and Main Objectives
To give technical and organizational lead to NH3 Test Fleet Retention & Recycling group to support delivery of vehicle tests in a timely and safe manner
Main Tasks and Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership within the vehicle Fleet Retention and recycling area
- Ensure a smooth, safe and timely process for disposal of vehicles and High Voltage vehicle batteries
- Liaise with test groups/stakeholders to ensure vehicles are identified as ready for recycling and track progress to ensure on-time disposal
- Identify and liaise with Recycling and Storage suppliers to ensure they provide a compliant and safe manner in which to dispose of test vehicles and high voltage batteries
- Liaise with NML Test Administration team to ensure audit compliance as a Nissan Global test site
- Track performance of the department and provide clear reporting
- Data analysis, identify concern areas and propose countermeasures
- Produce operating procedures relating to Fleet Retention and Recycling processes
- Training and development of staff within the area
- Support the Team Leader/Supervisor of NH8 team to cover tasks in the area
- Support short/long term improvements to maintain Health & Safety, improve efficiency, and capture knowledge
Additional Tasks and Responsibilities
- Develop own methods to achieve required results
- Create reports and feedback data to Engineering / Management groups
- Support ZIP, 5S Genba Kanri and NLH Efficiency Improvement Activities
- Support TVBS updates, improvements, and on-going quality of stored data
Background and Experience
- Demonstrable experience in Test Fleet Retention and Recycling processes
- Must be capable of operating equipment, associated with the relevant area.
- Good inter-personal skills for co-ordinating activities with internal / external customers / suppliers
- Quality conscious with keen attention to detail
- Flexible to support periods of off-site working and/or overtime
- Ability to provide a technical lead for the development of staff within the section
Minimum Requirements
- Recognised Experience in relevant field
- Driving License essential

Good Computer IT skills:
- Excel (Database management & producing graphs)
- Word (Report writing)
- PowerPoint (Presentations)
- TVBS (Nissan internal system) knowledge/experience preferred but not essential
