Role Profile
The Product Manager manages the timely development and commercialization of Wind Applications and provides comprehensive interactive technical support to our customers, Manufacturing, R&D, Sales and Marketing, and Customer Service.
Besides Technical Product support, the Product Manager Wind is our main liaison with players in the Wind Industry. This is for primarily weavers, blade producers and OEMs, but also with Research institutes and Trade associations.
The Product Manager needs to follow existing products for performance, quality, technical information and promote and participate in new product developments. A key aspect is setting specifications based on market / industry / customers' requirements and future evolution.
The Product Manager is the technical interface with customers relative to the introduction of new or modified product technology. Additionally, standard products produced from new internal process technology or under conditions of improved profitability are managed by the Product manager.
Requirements
The Product Manager must possess a unique combination of technical expertise, management, and interpersonal skills. You must have a strong technical proficiency in the Fibre glass manufacturing processes, customer end use processes, and applications.
The Product Manager must also possess the ability to analyse and evaluate problems and an innovative, creative approach for solving problems.
This position requires a minimum of a degree at a technical university or the equivalent, and significant experience in composite technology. The Product Manager must have a strong background in technical operations, with demonstrated effectiveness and creativity.
