This successful, high profile sub-contract precision engineering company produces a variety of components from simple machined parts to complex turnkey assemblies and products.
Due to continued success, our client is looking for an experienced Engineering Estimator / Technical Sales Engineer to join a vibrant and growing team on a permanent basis.
What experience do you need?
- Precision engineering / manufacturing background
- Previously worked with complex parts for precision industries including Aerospace, Motorsport, Nuclear, MOD, Oil & Gas etc
- Ability to identify a method of manufacture working from an engineering drawing
- Strong knowledge of machining (CNC & Manual)
- Ability to calculate CNC cycle times, manning hours etc
- Knowledge of tooling, jigs and fixtures
- Exposure and use of MRP/ERP systems
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Confidence building relationships with customers and suppliers
- Computer literate
