Position: Technical Sales Manager

Hours: 40 hours per week
Our client requires a Technical Sales Manager. Working in the Technical and Service Solutions industry, the successful candidate will maintain and develop existing customer relationships, whilst expanding the range and number of customers. You will work closely with the National Account managers.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain and manage high-quality relationships with regional accounts
- Expand the range and number of customers
- Increase sales and profits
- To work collaboratively with other commercial and operational departments
- To lead the sourcing, identification and validation of opportunities
- Deliver tender and bid submissions, producing quotations as required
- General reporting, including on project cash flows and pipeline
- Ensure that all quotes and sales are managed within company policies and processes
- Produce effective plans and budgets
- Liaise with the internal sales team and Contract Administration team
- Update the AX system
- Provide regular analytical reports
Candidate Requirements:
Essential:
- Knowledge of mechanical engineering and rotating equipment, such as pumps, HVAC, Compressor, rotating parts
- Sales experience in both products and service industry (5 years+)
- Experience of leading sales negotiations
- IT skills, including MS packages
- Knowledge of mechanical engineering and rotating equipment
- Knowledge and evidence of facilities management
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to communicate at all levels within the company and team
- Numerate
- Flexibility regarding working hours
- Full driving licence
Desirable:
- Degree in Engineering or Business (or equivalent)
- Sales course attendance and experience of the sales process
- Experience of CRM/Microsoft Dynamics
